Administration of a sponsored project is the joint responsibility of the principal investigator, the departmental grant administrator and the post-award and financial units of the Office of Sponsored Programs. Remember that although PIs and Project Managers work very closely with each other all contractual changes such as time extensions, 额外的资金, scope of work change, PI变化量, rebudgeting when limited by sponsor, 等., must be requested in VERAS through the Office of Sponsored Programs and agreed to by an authorized signing official of the sponsoring agency in order to be enacted.
